July Full Moon In Capricorn : Power Struggles & Transformation

July full moon in Capricorn will highlights power struggles in relationships. Like the cardinal cross tussel, you can expect different areas of your life at polarities with each other. The time you spend at work versus the time you spend at home. Your heart versus your head. Try and keep your ego in check. Over analysing situations, working yourself up to an emotional mess are to watch out for. Like all full moon’s this moon too, is a a powerhouse of building up on inner tensions which would demand a release.
Focus on channelising your energy for changing challenging situations in your life that may have formed a pattern. Waiting for the “right” time to change could be the biggest mistake you could be convincing yourself of. Use your inner strength to transform pain bodies in your life.

Depending on the placement of your chart where the full moon will be highlighting the specific area of your life, resist the urge to control the outcome of a certain situation.

In your relationships, if there has been disharmony or constant conflict, then maybe it’s a time to look at your own conditioning closely. Try not to hang on to people from the past or your previous relationships either with a sense of regret or guilt. Rather than be overwhelmed with a sense of hopelessness, allow awareness to come in and let balance prevail. Some of you may feel manipulated, controlled or find people close to you guilt tripping and blaming you for it. Use this time to surround yourself with positive influences, nurture yourself, take time to meditate.

Since the July full moon is in Capricorn, which is only a degree away from Pluto, the planet of unearthing deeper feelings and intensity and often transforms only through destruction and renewal. This is as powerful as a full moon can get. Emotions are already high at a full moon but now they become all-powerful, all-consuming.

Try not to be come obsessed with how you are feeling. However, some of you may have powerful dreams – keep a journal at hand. Your intuitions could be right but your judgment could be impaired.

Change is imperative, whether you seek it or it’s forced upon you. The goal is to transform your patterns and not be resistant.

Allow your soul to grow so you may lead a better, aware life.

3 Ways To Untangle Your Life

Have Faith In The Process:

We all go through painful situations in life that can make us feel stuck. The situation may feel like an unending tunnel without any light at the end. Times such as these you need to hold on to the faith of it being a process of sifting before clarity emerges. Not accepting what’s happening and feeling a sense of futility will not make it go away. Remember to love yourself during this process, accept and embrace for what’s happening. Self hatred and guilt ridden thoughts have to be kept at bay consciously, by reminding yourself, you did what you could in the situation. (provided you have)

Know that it’s temporary:

Unfortunately, happiness tends to make time fly, while sadness and challenging times seem to drag. While going through tough times, resist the urge to be drawn in others drama or negativity. If your relationship is difficult, resist the urge to engage in petty discussions and focus on how you are feeling. Only being true to your emotions can give you clarity on where to move ahead in your relationship.

Set a goal:

Whether it is to write a book, change your job or get fit – identify it and then stick to it like your life depends on it. Setting goals can be a constructive practice. There is enough and more research done on the effects on the positives of goal setting to maintain a emotional happier and healthier life. Being happy takes requires discipline and hard work, and goal setting is one part of the equation. Whether the goal is short-term, you need to define specific and actionable steps that you can take in order to reach your goals.

Try and ensure your goals are difficult enough to motivate you and hold your interest but not so laborious that you realistically have no chance of achieving them.

Are You With A Soulmate Or A Wound mate?

We often get confused between our soulmate and wound mate. One operates out of love and another ego. It can be amazingly confusing as signals received from both can be similar. A strong soul connection, coupled with an electrifying chemistry can confuse the best of us. The lessons unfortunately can be both, beautiful and tragic at the same time.

A wound mate is often your own splitting image, carrying their hurts, unsorted emotional scarring from childhood or from repetitive toxic relationships, they become your partners in crime. Misery loves company as do wound mates. You feel connected through pain, grief and at times just the plain old feeling of constant unsupported or unloved. Unfortunately, neither of these partners survive the relationship or can hope of building a strong foundation as the sensitivities can always be at an high with neither willing to heal.

The more light gets shone on our dark places, the more we realise corners that have not been dusted or some simply been ignored over the years, stuff we thought we had sorted – now seems to lie scattered on the floor. What may have been a daunting task in the past now seems impossible. Constantly being ridiculed about our grief or scars helps non one heal but just open the wound again and again. With constant criticism, it becomes very hard to trust wound partners or bare your authentic self to them. The unfortunate thing with a wound mate is, over a period of time you start wearing a mask, as your darker side is uncomfortable to deal with. Until, both partners commit to operate from a place of empathy and fearlessness, this kind of a relationship is often a waste of emotions and energy for all you would do is press constant triggers in each other and keep the wounds in focus.

A soul mate interestingly does not necessarily save you in the traditional way, they guide you through narrow paths, giving you your own torch, enabling you. They don’t accuse you of having wound, but on seeing your scars tenderly patch them by giving you another perspective. They will create space for you, listen to you without prejudice, seldom mocking or assuming the worst of you. You are allowed to unpack your baggage. No lengthy explanations required on what you said and what you meant…for they always view you with trust.

If the ego is always in control, constantly dominating, it becomes hard for the wound mate to convert into a soulmate. Breaking down of the ego and establishing a soul connect is though hard but fulfilling work. It is important to recognise that when we constantly feel threatened, rejected we have entered into a relationship which would require considerable work and empathy towards your partner. Love is the most powerful healer, but you need to allow the love seep in the nooks and crevices of areas that hurt which may not always be as easy as it sounds but it’s not impossible.

The 4th House In Astrology & Tarot : Emotional Foundations

The 4th house rules your home, family, and foundation. It can rule your home itself structurally, like the kind of home you like and the place or area you’d like to live, as well as the environment within the home. The 4th is where we go when we collapse. It rules home and family, ancestors and homeland. It provides a literal retreat. The 4th house is on as axis with the 10th house (the exact opposite house). There is an inevitable conflict between the needs of the soul and the demands of public life. From the 4th we’re called to serve society in our 10th house role. This axis is also a very spiritual axis, and the 4th house shows the spiritual foundation upon which you build. Cancer and the Moon rule the 4th house, and this house is an angular house.

The fourth house is also the house of our childhood and our parents childhood and so-on.  It represents the circle of life and size. It’s the house of what makes us into who we are as adults and it’s our past that we like to keep private.  This is where we can find “Skeletons in the closet“. It represents resources used to rear us.

Do you wonder if you will ever find and own your dream home? In tarot, there are several cards which refer to property matters and moving house. These are a few cards based on my experience as a reader.

4 wandsThe four of wands

A happy scene indeed. This bright card foretells that you are about to set down new roots and you will be more than happy in your new home. Good energy and a fabulous neighbours. What more can you ask for? A card connected with celebrations also, it likely to indicate a   house warming party too.

The Empress This card is often associated with pregnancy and even financial abundance. But I find she also pops up in a reading when someone is about to make a move of house and settle down in a lovely location, more often than not close to the countryside, or even  own a house that has a large garden (the Empress is linked to Nature). She does look comfortable too, doesn’t she? So expect to feel this way in your new home. It could be a move that lasts you a life time.

3 pentaclesThree of Pentacles: Three people stand outside of a property, they are deep in discussion.

The discussion could involve changes to the property structure. Work needs to be done. Renovations to be carried out.

Yes, a house move will happen. But expect to spend money on improvements and these may not necessarily be what you are aware of at the point of sale. Make sure your budget allows for unforeseen extras. This card can also indicate future expansion of your living space. Adding extra rooms or extending a room.

Abandonment & Tarot

abandonment:  əˈbandənm(ə)nt/ noun: the action or fact of abandoning or being abandoned.  “she had a feeling of utter abandonment and loneliness”
Most of our powerful memories are based on how certain experiences we had as a child- the joy or fear of what was or what was not shaped our subconscious. The fear stays like an errant child peeping through the door – emerging his head now and then reminding us not to take risks, to doubt and not to trust.
Love : feeling protected, secure in the knowledge that you will be picked up should you fall, that you are safe, taken care off – constant. Maybe somewhere this love is possible only between a parent and child – the selflessness, the promise.
Relationships that tire over a period of time, not because of anything but sheer laziness to make an effort to keep the relationship going. No spending time together – hurried matter of fact phone calls, brisk instructions are sadly counted as love. A simple, “how are you doing? ” seem to scare the best of us.
It’s too much of investment and effort.
When one person consciously chooses not to be involved in the relationship – it can feel very awkward and it hurts. Not belonging is a terrible feeling, as if you were wearing someone else’s shoes. It can leave a person bewildered on how you stop caring about what you’ve ached over, sweated over for years? You have to confront  painful feelings in order to heal. It’s okay if people you loved, let you down and abandoned you mid way because somewhere you no longer fitted in their scheme of things!
Be fearless. Rather than break – rise. Accept, embrace that people are people – they change.
Don’t get defensive and push people away. Importantly, DON’T blame yourself. It’s a understandable reaction, but an inappropriate one. If others couldn’t love us, or love us in ways that worked, that’s not our fault. Learn to separate yourselves from the behavior of others. And take responsibility for your healing, regardless of the people around you.
Believe in yourself, discover a new passion, live the life that you always dreamed of.

In Tarot, the Eight of Cups 8 of cupsindicates  that it is time to ask yourself what you can do to bring a deeper satisfaction and joy to your life beyond the obvious pursuit of material satisfaction and/or physical enjoyment.

The Eight of Cups also indicates that you are disappointed enough to walk away from everything you have built up so far. It could indicate a disappointment in love or dissatisfaction with material success. It could also indicate that you have over-extended yourself to the point of emotional exhaustion. Even though you have already come so far, you feel that you can no longer go on and your only choice is to walk away from the situation. You feel disappointed with yourself but you know that this is the right thing to do before you completely burn out. You may also be feeling that you are giving too much and not getting nearly enough in exchange.

When Love Gives Up On You: Tarot Card Of Betrayal

The worst feeling of being in love with someone is not being loved back or not being wanted the way you want them. Not enough that is. And they don’t tell you – they assume you will know -well  eventually you are expected to. They assume on your behalf you won’t bleed as much. Sure, you would feel the pain but you would get over it. So, the charade carries on, the dinners are done and the holidays are taken together and no mention is made of “ever after”

Such relationships are often lonely especially for the one who loves and lives in hope  to be with someone who does not reciprocrate in the same way. You cannot make people love you the way you do – no matter how much you care – they just don’t care back but the good news is,  it’s not end of the world. And after a while, you learn that someone holding your hand was just that, the time spent together was a mere habit, and since there were no promises made – nothing gets broken. Well, nothing on the outside that is. And unknowingly you become party to the crime. You knew there were no promises – so why did you expect? Why did you take all the conversations, sharing of happiness as a sign. And you learn again – that it’s still possible to get your heart broken.

“Don’t beleive in everything people write”,  I was told, and I wondered silently, what is it then that I beleive in? At some point, you realize that you have done too much for someone or something, the only next possible step is to stop. Leave them alone. Walk away. It’s not like you’re giving up and it’s not like you shouldn’t try. It’s just that you’ve to draw the line of determination from desperation.

seven_swordsIn Tarot, The Seven of Swords indicates that you may be tempted to sneak away from a particular situation that is not working for you any more, rather than dealing with it head on. As you do not feel ready to deal with the issues, you are aiming for a solution where you can just escape and not have to worry about it all. Are you trying to run away from commitment, responsibility, hard work or love? You may be procrastinating, letting problems slip and become worse because you do not want to deal with them. Sometimes you just have to face what has to be faced. So, the question is, “Is this realistic?” Will this ‘escape’ really accomplish what you want to and need to accomplish? Will it address the fundamental issues at hand here? The likely answer is no, and it may simply be an easy way out for now.

ten_swordsWhen the 7 of Swords is accompanied by upright 10 of Swords it reconfirms the feeling of betrayal. As such, the Ten of Swords is often associated with feeling the ‘victim’ in a situation. You may feel powerless as something comes to a crashing and sudden end, and you feel as if you are being attacked or backstabbed by someone else.

The Ten of Swords is about letting go and accepting your current circumstances. You no longer resist change but allow it to happen, even if it causes some initial pain and hurt to you. You accept that there must be change in order to facilitate renewal, and you allow it to occur rather than fighting it.

Top 7 Things NOT To Say To A Capricorn!

capriThe ruling planet for Capricorn is Saturn. Considered the taskmaster of the Zodiac, Saturn rules theories, scientific law, patience, timing, tradition, conventionality, and the productive use of time. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. In ancient Roman mythology, Saturn was the father of many of the gods. Consider him top dog, if you will, and then you’ll see a parallel to Capricorns. Those born under this sign also want to be the top dog, and they’re smart enough to know that the title won’t simply be handed to them.

1.    Perfectionists: Capricorns are perfectionists, thus need to be doing well to be truly happy. They tend to have extremely high standards in everything – even relationships. They can’t help but compare themselves to just about everybody. Capricorn looks at the achievements of others and imagines how they would’ve done it better. Don’t be surprised in a Capricorn house to get the cushions patted the moment you get up from the couch.

2.    Power HungrCapricorns most important need is security, financial and material security. Ambition is the keyword for this sign. Most people are happiest when they’re drinking or partying, but Capricorns are happiest when they’re slaving away on achieving their goals. Once a goal is set, they will go the distance The key phrase for Capricorn is “I use.” The Capricorn possesses a real knack for finding the right tool for the job and getting down to it.. A large measure of strength of character is also associated with Capricorn. Starting at the bottom of the ladder and working their way to the top doesn’t scare the Capricorn off.

3.    Sarcastic: Which is true but in a Capricorn head they are the most gentle and compassionate souls They are exceptionally sarcastic. The witty nasty kinds wherein you’re not sure whether it’s an insult or a compliment Very few Capricorns will suffer fools gladly or even a lack of basic common sense can throw them into a  irritable tongue lashing.

4.    Boring: Thanks to Saturn being the ruling planet, Capricorns might seem boring and stern because they live by self-discipline and responsibility. They evaluate everything and they don’t take daring chances without weighing the advantages and disadvantages first. To the onlooker, they might seem boring but it is the serious drive and structured way of life that the Capricorn feels safe with. Capricorn’s self-sufficiency is often mistook for coldness, they are not as cold as they seem, this might be apparent just because Capricorns like to do everything themselves this way there is no worry about something not finished or not done properly.

 5.  Slow: Say this to a Capricorn be sure to lose a friend or earn their contempt. They’re known for their slow and steady progress, and this is also why the second half of their life is usually the best, and commonly when they’re happiest settling down. They work hard at being good partners, and pride themselves on being totally there for loved ones. t’s ruled by Saturn, the planet of slow and steady progress, and conservatism. Capricorns are thought to move through life, achieving success slowly but surely.capro

 6. Emotionally Unavailable: Saturn brings a heaviness in Capricorn which could make them appear emotionally cold. Truth be told, Capricorns can sometimes be rather lonely people, although they rarely let it show. They are often a little reserved—even standoffish. Don’t expect them to open up to you right away. It takes time for them to feel comfortable enough to share their personal life story or problems. It’s how they protect themselves. In their mind, what you don’t know… you can’t use against them.

7. Rigid: This is true of Capricorns even the one’s that put up a good show of being sweet and patient. Yet, they hate to be told so – simply because they don’t believe it. There’s a bit of a doubting Thomas in almost all Capricorn people. Many squint often—not due to poor eyesight, but because their first reaction to information is skepticism! It’s more of a furrowing of the eyebrows, and it’s often seen in people with a strong Saturn. Capricorns take a long time to change their mind or opinion once formed.

The Wild Boy Of Astrology : Uranus Retrograde: 26th July 2015

A retrograde happens when the Earth passes a planet, making that planet appear to slow down, stop and then go in reverse. it appears to be moving backward. The retrograde motion is an illusion created by the orbit of our Earth, the planets are not really going backward it just appears they are. Just as other retrogrades do, the push here is more internal than external.

Anytime a planet goes retrograde, its energy is internalized. This time Uranus is going retrograde in Aries on 26th July. When the wild boy of astrology Uranus goes retrograde things get more intense and situations have a speed. Unlike maybe a Saturn which slows us down making us pause, introspect and look at our lives. The urge to change becomes forceful and sudden leading you to an entirely new direction. The trick here is how you react to the retrograde. The harder the resistance the fiercer the push to change your life

In all possibility you could be pushed into dealing with past issues. It’s a chance to re-do or re-consider, and you must have intensified focus in order to get it right. Depending on which part of your chart Uranus is retrograding in, things could have been stirring up. Mars will make you rash, taking risks which otherwise you wouldn’t have thought off.  There could be suddenness in a change of location, leaving a job or even abruptly breaking a relationship. Try to focus on details as much as possible in the said area of your life. Uranus will push you to take a second look at your decisions and make that change which you’ve been stalling for a while now.

A breakthrough of sorts is possible as well. For those in creative fields will find solutions to something they’ve been floundering with quite a while.

So if there’s something you’re stuck on or in, this transit could be your direction to the exit door. Pay attention to crazy ideas and unexpected encounters.  Work with the energy, get focused, this period will help you develop a spine. Know however, that things are not guaranteed.  Keep your emotions in check, you could blurt our something or promise something that you cannot deliver which could prove damaging.

Don’t confuse spontaneity with childish impetuousness. And don’t be in a rush to announce grand plans – you might just regret them or reconsider them.

Top 7 Things NOT To Say To A Pisces!

1.    Why Do You Look So spaced out?

Pisces are stronger then they think and wiser then they know. Pisces live in two worlds at all times. One is in their head, which has a huge ocean and mermaids and the other one our real world. Much as they love company, a Pisces is seldom lonely. Every now and then he retreats in his own world of magic. In fact, the Moon in the Tarot Cards represents Pisces.pisc 1

2.    How Could You Be So Naïve?

Even though Pisces is a mix of all signs since it ‘s the twelfth zodiac, they have a dreamy outlook on life. While they find beauty in the world around and seek inspiration from everything, they like to believe in everything on face value. Pisces have a way of living sideways. They seldom approach anyone with distrust.

3.    Don’t Worry

The fish likes to worry about everything. They like to imagine the worst scenario in their heads even before it has happened and then worry to death about it. Their imagination often gets them into trouble.

4.    You Decide

This is the worst thing you can tell a Pisces especially if it’s a Pisces rising as well. Pisces dread taking the lead on anything.  However, if you ask them gently to guide you – they would eagerly help. Pisces can be flaky to the point of frustration but they don’t intentionally mean to be this way – till the time it’s a matter of absolute importance – they will keep stalling.

5. You Don’t Care!

Your Pisces is either really emotional who takes everything to heart. Or he’s detached emotionally and is a cynic.  Pisceans are also known to throw the biggest pity party amongst all zodiacs. They don’t like to be blamed for anything. Though on the contrary they feel rresponsible to every ill that happens in the world .

pisces6 .  Are You Being Honest?

The Pisces symbol is of the two opposing fish representing the duality of their personality. It’s not that they like to tell stories, but seldom will be there a Pisces who will tell it as it is the first time round. Aggression seldom works with them.  Gentle suggestions will make your Pisces open up to you.

7 Let’s Do This NOW!

Pisces hate being pushed, given ultimatums and threats. Where an Aries would rise to the challenge – maybe even get excited at the prospect of a confrontation  – your Pisces will withdraw. Pisces has a fragile disposition and needs lot of down time. The odd thing is that Pisces fills that down time with more stuff to do so the endless ‘TO DO’ list short circuits their timing and inner clock.

Sleepless @ home – When Uranus Strikes! Natal & Transit

“I love my house, but I can’t seem to get good sleep – I am constantly restless”, a friend  lamented sheepishly after we had exchanged pleasantries. “I’m constantly at logger heads with dad, and generally my own house has become a prison…I just don’t know why I keep going back to my childhood memories and keep feeling angry towards dad”

Welcome to Uranus in the Fourth House! This House covers many areas of life, the most obvious of which being your actual physical home, your refuge from the world, where you hang your hat and kick back and relax in the comfort of your personal space. Because Uranus is a planet that resists being tied down, wanting to run off and do its own thing, the Fourth House Uranian probably bounces back and forth between being a loving caregiver and an aloof non-presence in the home, even if they are physically there. Uranus is represented by a cross over a circle flanked by two crescents. Two sides of receptivity and in this case the saying the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing comes into play.

It can also be that, many Uranus-in-Fourth born’s received this exact kind of nurturing during their own childhoods, and often didn’t receive enough emotional support. They really do have good intentions, however. There will be unusual, eccentric items in the home, quirky gadgets, and there will typically be something strange about the home itself. But wait: there’s more! The Fourth House also governs our parents and parenting in general, particularly the parent who was the lesser influence although some astrologers believe the Fourth House parent represented here is strictly the mother or mother figure, while others insist it’s the father/father figure. My personal view is it’s often both. Additionally, it encompasses our ancestry, traditions, and how we behave behind closed doors.

Uranus is the genius who Knows. It is said that genius and madness have only a thin line between them. Uranus erases that line. Whether it brings total chaos or revolutionary new advances (frequently both) its effects are never dull. Whatever it contacts as it transits around your horoscope will be changed, usually with dramatic suddenness. People with this position often possess the ‘wanderlust’, are fond of adventure and enterprise. Anything settled in their lives. does not .appeal to them. They should not struggle against this disposition, but endeavour to harmonise it, so far as may be with their general welfare.

Uranus takes approximately 84 years to come full circle. This slow-moving planet’s transits are long-lasting, and each transit takes its time to unfold. As Uranus transits a point in our chart, retrogrades back over it, and then hits it again in direct motion, it imparts its own special wisdom upon the point in question—the areas of lives and parts of our psyches ruled by that point.

How Uranus affects our lives depends very much on whether we resist its influences or we try to work with the planet of independence, liberation, and enlightenment. Uranus speeds up our tempo in order for us to consider taking risks and making changes.
