The gorgeous Libra is related to the Greek Goddess of Justice, Themis, the Greek mythology version of Atalanta (meaning balance), and Astraea (daughter of Themis), who went up to heaven and became the constellation of Virgo, (you cannot talk about Libra without mentioning Virgo) and carried the scales of justice, which is the constellation Libra. Libra marks the point of the autumn equinox (in the northern hemisphere) when the days and nights are of equal length.
