I often wonder about a lot of music being about love, heartache, an emotion so strong it either turns our world upside down or makes us walk on a cloud – literally!! I for one, love being in love. I love the heady rush it gives when I am with that someone special or the love I feel when I watch my boys sleep. It is the same love which makes my mum wake at 4:00 AM to see me off catch a flight. The power of love literally sets the universe in motion.
3 of cups is by far one of my favorite cards. It reminds me of my closest friends – friends who have stood by me – through trials and happiness. In 3 of cups, one can see three women dancing together in a circle. Their arms reach out to each other to connect their feelings (Cups). These dancing women are a symbol of coming together in love. (Of course, these feelings do not only relate to women) The 3 of Cups is often associated to healing and regeneration. In Health readings, the 3 of cups can indicate a recovery or restoration of one’s health.
The balance is a delicate one, sure. But sometimes yielding is exactly what we need to do because the temptation itself has become the problem and doing what we want to do, consequences be damned, is the healthiest choice. If one’s fight against temptation has resulted in living a lie, that lie itself is the Devil’s bondage.
He finally met a rather lovely young woman. After meeting a couple of times and figuring since their work was pretty similar – it seemed like a workable situation. He came for a guidance since he had been having sleepless nights and “something he couldn’t put a finger on” feeling was constantly gnawing his insides. I was surprised to see the moon card prominently feature with 7 of wands. On being asked not to rush and wait at least six months. I met him again some months back – still single. It seems the lovely woman had been in another relationship for the last 5 years but because the man she was involved with refused to commit – she chose to get married yet stay involved.
At times we find in some relationships – where just being with that particular person for a while makes us incredibly happy. Abundance also can come from doing the things you love, good health, and a life that lets you live according to your values and beliefs.
